Read through this thread. Definitely going to get this done! So I thought I'd post my questions in here, instead of making a new thread.

I do believe there is tinting spray with a lacquer as part of it? Or, would I have to get the tinting spray, and then get a gloss lacquer as well?. Does such as thing exist?

Also, tinting side repeaters. Is there a legal limit of how dark it can go? I don't want to go super dark, but would rather not go too dark and have to source new ones.

Cheers,

Yarde

You can tint your side repeaters but its adivsed you use a chrome bulb when you have done or you can buy smokey lens side repeaters off ebay for 10 pound like i did :p i used savage tinting spray witch has a glossy effect but i still sprayed a clear laquer coat over them as a little weather protection heres a pic of my sid repeaters and back lights..

on the tin it says two coats.. but it doesnt make much difference as nice real thin coats avoids drips.. so i done thin coats and about 5-7 coats but just spray untill satisfied :p i only done it to dull down that bright red in yer face kinda thing 1st pic you see how i done the side darker and in the 2nd pic you can see how red it was.. :p

That's all I'm going for, dull down the redness, but i might go a bit further once I get the spray at the ready :p
