Hi, Iam new today on this forum, and hoping someone can help solve my problem iam getting with my Punto 60 S, I was coming back from a long journey yesterday when I noticed a rattling noise coming from the engine (which is consant), when I got home and had a look it seemed like it was coming from the left side of the engine and specifically the timing belt, after closer inspection, after looking under the timing belt cover (which is loose at the top, but not the cause of the rattling) the belt was hanging about 1/4 of the sprocket, which before the journey wasnt! Is this normal, iam guessing not though! My guess, which isnt very knowledge based is the timing belt tensioner? Could anybody shed some light, theres also been been a few oil drips on the floor, but iam thinking this is a slight leak on the oil sumps behalf?
