Just bought a x reg 1.2 Punto, and ordered some 6" x 9"s for it (I know i should of started front first). When i checked the back it only have 1 speaker cable on the drivers side and didn't have one of the passenger, was wondering where i should start looking for it or any tips/advice.

Put your own wiring in. it'll be better quality cable anyway and not too hard to do. Are you just running 6x9s off headunit or will you be amping up? amping would be better.

And are you running a sub? If you are, I wouldnt bother with the 6x9s just get some decent comps for the front and amp them up!

i have just put some 6 x 9's inmy W reg punto all i did was took the cd player out cut the wires for the back right / left speakers attached extra wires to them an rn them from behined my dash under the carpets into the boot very easy job 30mins tops

Ok gonna wire it myself, just got the stereo out and can't take the speaker wires out, they must be clamped.. is there a quick release way?

well what i would do is cut each wire off and then join the new wire to it at the back of the headunit using bullet connector plugs or something similar. just make sure you know which is left and right and which is + and -. then simply run it down one side of the car (probably drivers side) under the plastic bits to the boot.

Is there anyway of removing the rear speaker wires fromt he stereo without buying new adapters etc

just cut the wire from the plug and attach your wire to it leaving enough wire at the back of the plug to attach your connector.

I don't think you can pull it out and put you're own wire into the plug. I've tried before and had no luck but i might be wrong.
