I have problems with my EPS. It is punto mk2 2000 1.9jtd. Sometimes it is working fine. Sometimes when I start the engine the red indication lights on and the eps is disabled. I don't want to replace the whole unit since it costs about 300Euro.
I heard there are two relays model tyco c1061-x127 that might cause the problem but I can't confirm that.
I believe it is not for replacement because it works most of the time. Maybe there are some connectors that need to be cleaned or something. I don't know. At the fiat service they told me I need to buy a new EPS and that they don't sell parts only. If anyone has had similar problems please offer a solution. It will be greatly appreciated.
