Hi, just thought i'd post a few pics up, had this punto about 6 months now bought it standard and spent a few quid making it look pretty nice imo. But thinking of selling up and buying a Mk1 GT3  can now afford to run one!

....my views on euro generally come up whenever some poor misguided fool will put big wheels on a car with a massive tyre stretch...
Have fun on rounderbouts once your done :D ahh looks at the total expense of usability its the way forward (y)...tire walls provide both ride quality and grip by their flexing dont'cha know?

have you ever experienced stretched tyres? As long as you dont go too far with the stretch, you will be fine, and handling isnt affected that much :bang:

:p
think you may have said it there... tbf round here we have a infestation of euro'd lupos and following one down the road is hilarious/scary. Slammed suspension and stretched tyres looks alright till like the car has to move over anything other than freshly laid tarmac at which point you realise they've removed 99.9% of suspension travel to have a car that looks good in car park. Every little bump and camber change whole car bounces or sways

thanks for your concern matey, but i'm gonna do it anyway ;) plenty of my mates have had no problems at all running crazy stretch and camber.

tried a set of my mates wheels on last night, and also did a couple of chops...

thats more to do with the rock-hard suspension (that has probably been set up badly to fit the wheels into the arches)
i have seen some cars with stretched tyres handle better than you would think ;)

....then again, theres no point in stretched tyres unless the car is decked anyway, so i concede your point there

moderation is the key, as always.
