My back box has a hole in it. Its been repaired before by the looks of it, but has blown through again.

What are the price differences between a standard box, and a more "exotic" one?

Also, whats the power loss though the hole, if any? Only had the car 3 days, so dont know the difference with no hole.

I don't know that much but i would be pretty scared if i had a hole in my back box, would think it was gunna get rusty if left but i ain't in the know really lol. If you go on Ebay i'm sure you can pick up a back box for £100 or so, although i like to get things new because i'm strange like that lolz. I'm getting a full cat back for £250 so not to bad

you wont loose much power if any at all with hole being in the back box so your ok on that front but you will need new exhaust anyway for m.o.t, if its just a back box u want you can pick them up from around 60pound plus for an 'exotic' one, if u just want a standerd 1 probs best trying scrap yards and stuff

depends which you get, whether its just the backbox or a one piece exhaust unit...

i know wilco motosave will do a back box for 28.50 fitted near me... thats based on a 1.2 8v punto
