I have had a new lock set fitted to my Fiat Punto 60. Since then, sometimes when I start the car the wipers, heater and lights don't work. I have to turn off the engine and restart it to get them to work again - not great if you are driving along and suddenly hit upon fog. This is the second time I've had a new lock set fitted and the same problems occured the first time.
Has anyone else found this?
The first time I had the new locks fitted, the garage kept looking at the car again to try and fix the problem. This time, however, the garage (a different one) will not accept that the problems with the wipers, etc. are connected to the new lock set being fitted and want to charge me to look at the wiring. This is despite the fact that these problems didn't exist until they fitted the new locks.
I can't believe I'm the only person who's had this problem.

i cant think for any reason why a lockset change on a punto 60 would cause the faults you described.
