Ok, got my 75sx yesterday afternoon. The wee book says the tyre pressure should be 2 bar (29psi) but that seems and looks a little soft to me.

Is that right, and would anyone else recommend putting more in?

ASAP please:eek:

Also, its a green colour, but I cant find the colour in Halfords. Does anyone know the paint code or name? Got a wee scratch I'd like to fix.

the book say 29psi :D & then the book be right:D...as for the colour look at book again for ID plate usually under bonnet & check the paint code:D...all in the book:D...sorted(y)

Yeah I thought thats what folk would say:D

Just it feels very "draggy" at 2 bar, like they're a bit flat. Maybe jut not used to it yet.

Cheers bud.

I personally prefer to run mine with a few more PSI. Down to personal preference really. Also depends on loading and types of journey your doing....but that should all be explained in your manual.

Alan

one thing to note is that if your checking pressure when the tyres are hot you need to put more in them (2-3 extra psi i think the book says for my mk2b)

I think I may put a bit more in. Maybe just up to the full load pressure.

Feels a tad sluggish just now.

For my sx60 its meant to be 29 in the front and 28 in the back.

I read somewhere you're meant to put an extra 1psi per inch of wheel extra. So on my 16's ive got 31psi and 30psi in the back :)

i run 28 psi or 1.9bar in the back and 31 or 2.2 in the front

car is usually only driven with me in

i find it makes the steering lighter and improves turn in that sluggishness you speak off and slightly less in the back makes it less bouncy

on the hole more controllable and responsive

my dad does the same he keeps rear on his 156 the same and the front he uses half a bar more so running 2.5 or more in the front
