alot off kits are paper thin

my front bumper was, its causeits a cheapo mould

im worried that mine will crack once its on the car and starts to flex:(

if u need any spare matting i have loads if i can find it, i was gonna use it on my door cards but i got them done for me in the end

bodystylist price 650.00 i paid 205, if it was just me driving i proubaly would get a kit off body stylist, but as chavson is driving it theres a good chance it will be all smashed up soon so i go for cheepest;)

gaz, chavson has been talking to some bodyshop guy, he says if kit is thin fill behind it with that expanding foam filler spray where you can than will keep it stiffer;)

but how will the expanding foam stick to it

it will just squirt out everywhere, when u spray it

forgot that bit he says put another layer of matting in first and put carpet tacks in it, the tacks will help the filler to hold, the body shop guy is customer in the pub where chavson works so he might just have been giving him ball to look like he knew what to do, sounds like it should help though, i know carisma use that foam filler when the make oneoff kits,

but if u imagine foam filler though it needs to be contained

u have no way off doing that on a bumper

matting would be the best option, rough it up a bit then paste loads off matting and hardener on it, it doesnt matter what it looks like, no-one wil see it
