I have had a misfiring problem with my car now for about 6 months. Fiat have changed coil pack, an injector, spark plug and leads. They have also tried a new ecu, didnt fix it.

Can anyone help????!!

The problem, bumpy idling and lack of power when accelarating.

Does it sound like it's only running on 3 cylinders? If they've checked all the ignition and electrical side, perhaps it could be the fuelling system that is at fault.

Is it knocking when the engine is warm?

Oh yeah, have you done a compression test?

Hey man I had the same problem with my car and like that lad from 2004 replaced all he did, turned out to be low on compression on cylinders 2 and 3

Can someone please change title of thread to

"the thread that will not die"

Or "zombie thread Of doom"

It died then was resurrected 9 years later.

It died again then came back to life after another 7 years

Haha I agree this tread needs to end but before it does, I need to say that it wasn’t the head gasket it was the previous owner had let the car run low on oil thus scoring the cylinder wall and fecking up the engine....and then I bought it [emoji23][emoji23].Currently the car is long term storage and I’ve a 2002 broom yellow one. Right that’s the last post in this. Goodbye
