Alright

I had my punto surviced couple weeks ago and strightaway after it started to missfire and took back to a garage and they told me that there full service didnt include ht leads :S .. HAd these installed for a subsitised £10. All is fine and dandy till couple days ago but its only doing at low revs now like when pulling away or accelarating when i guess the revs are low i am guessing 1000rpm to maybe 2000rpm (I havent got a rev counter) .. Had a quick flash throught the search button and had a couple of sujjestions for maybe with coil back but i dont think its affecting 2 cylinders!
Also edited to say that the problem is intermittent doesenmt always happen

Any ideas?

have you had a look at your spark plugs? may need new ones, see if there full of crap thats my first suggestion

My sister had a similar problem. The engine was misfiring and juddering etc. Anyway, we narrowed it down to the spark plugs and HT leads.

Word of warning if you go ahead to change the plugs, we attempted it yesterday and a quick half hour job soon evolved into a new cylinder head. The first plug sheared off in the cylinder head so we tried to get it out with an easiout and cracked the head. I think it might be to do with the metal on the plug somehow bonding with the aluminium head.

I just wanted to warn you, might be best leaving it to a garage if you decide to replace the plugs. Could save a lot of money if the worst happens.

Either the plug was cheap and mashed itself with heat and a little pressure.....

Any1 can take a plug out and plug it back in
