lo all,
im havin a lil problem with my windscreen washers(front), well i say a lil problem........ there not working at all actually any ideas? [V]

fill the washer tank, make sure its not leaking, when you operate the washers can you hear the washer pump motor whirring, are any of the pipes disconnected, are the pipes blocked, are any of the small in-line non return valves knackered?

Check these and get back to me.

Either try filling your washer bottle or try taking the washer pipes off one at a time under the bonnet and see if you have a blockage. There is a three way splitter connector on the underside of the bonnet and they are notorious for blocking or leaking.Try to get someone to activate the washers while you check to hear if the washer motor is working.You should be able to hear the motor as long as you have the engine turned off.Some people have a tendency to block up the washer holes on the bonnet with polish.The pipes just pull of the black splitter or off the washer jets so dont be scared to pull them.

Thanx i tried filling it up and it came out alittle more powerfull, but not as powerfull as it should, so when i get back from work ill check out those ideas and leave a message about how i got on.

A friend of mine had a problem with his washers on his Focus. Turns out when he had an alarm installed they put the bonnet sensor in a stupid place which meant that it was pushing on one of the washer tubes when the bonnet was closed. You might want to check its not something like that. Seeing as the post was a while ago you've probably fixed the problem so.....
