I dont think she is doing anything to cause this it just happens randomly. I have taken it to 2 mechanics and both are stumped as the problem never happened whilst in the garages. her mother had the same problem with a 2001 punto she had and never found out what it was and sold it.
I'm assuming it must be a common problem but cant find an answer anywhere!
I have also been told of key transponder problems but i dont have a red key i have 2 blue one with a silver wreath and one with gold.
Anyone got any ideas? Please help as i am being tortured to get her a new cal lol

and like said you have to wait till the body computer has done all its checks before cranking over.
so when ignition is on wait till all the warning lights go out before cranking
