Im getting my punto mk1 lowered next week, and already have alloys and everything else done to it that I want (Im going for the smooth subtle look) , but to finish it off, I need some rear lights, problem is I dont know which ones to go for. The ones I've seen are the lexus ones with the three massive circles which I dont like. The 3D ones look good, but not in chrome on my red car, would they look if I got the non painted ones and sprayed them red? There are also some other ones I saw, theyre about the same price as the 3D ones, but look more lexus style, not sure what these would look like on the car. InPro have some very nice looking ones coming out at some point but as they were supposed to be out last summer and they still haven't got a release date for them, I dunno wether they are gonna be available soon. Anyone know of any others that would look good on a red punto. It's also a 5 door! didnt want to admit that but thought I would in case that affects the light fittings.

to be honest, i think they look like a few 'Tiddly Winks' behind a clear cover[:0]

If your going for the smooth look you could always get your standard light covers colour-coded.

A decent bodyshop would add loads of lacquer to the paint so that they look body-coloured but at the same time the lacquer lets the lights shine through too.

yeah I think 5 doors can look good, yours does mate, and mine looks pretty good in my opinion, will try to get some pics up when I get the lights on. At the moment my spec is colour coded bumpers (were the crappy black ones but now perfect match to the car and because they look different to the proper colour coded ones, it looks slightly different to other puntos) all the rubbing strips have been removed and the rear and side badges removed. Its got a jap style back box which hangs a bit low at the moment but is booked in next week to have a custom pipe made to reposition it, with it sitting in an arch in the bumper. I've got spax suspension at home ready to go on, thats booked in the day afer the exhaust gets sorted, K&N, and 15" Wolfrace Urban Racer in shadow chrome, with 45 profile tyres.

Sorry to get carried away, I know this is a lights topic not a list your mods topic, but had to show my love for the 5 door appreciaters!

Anyway, Yeah I've got POTN's catalogue and I saw those lights, must say they do look better on the web in a big picture rather than in the catalogue. Think those will be the ones, unless anyone can come up with any others.

5 door and 3 door both share the same rear lights so nothing to worry about with fitting!

has anyone seen the FK lexus lights for the phase 1 - no sticky out bit at the bottom hooray!!!!

yeah go for the tint. iv not seen wot they look like colour coded red but could be an option.mine r tinted and im happy wid them. i tried go for smoot look to check out the link below of my car.

i dont usualy like lexus lights but sono your the first punto iv seen that suit it. nice one
