General colour coded handles/mirrors

ye i didnt even check to see if they came off lol i couldnt be bothered lol i just stuck lots of newspaper all over my car lol

Me to, also try and do it on a warm day, helps a hell of alot with the drying time.

i did mine on the drive as well, admitnley, i did use a plasic sheet to stop the wind, didnt want paint all over.

its in the stupidist place, you wouldnt think to look up when you open the bonnet, most people say under the bonnet but there is a plate with the vin number on i think, not 100% tho. which everyone thinks thats not my colour code and keep lookin else were, j1ppers tell me if yours is there as well!!

i was looking at that plate also.


so whens someone setting up this colour coding business?
 
The handles are not easily detached... i looked into taking mine off when i was doing the colour coding, did them on the car in the end, as taking them off involves removing the entire door card and undoing them from the inside :mad:

OMG really? I think it would make sense to only be able to take the handle off from the inside or thiefs would have a field day with puntos! taking the door crads off is one of the easiest things to do, stop being a baby.:p
