So annoyed..

OK.. had a couple of problems in the past with my battery (the lights and radio would run the battery flat in 5-10 minutes without the engine runnning).

I drove the car to a pub tonight, parked up, had a drink, 45 mins later went to drive home, and FLAT. The ngine just wouldnt run over, but the all lights and the radio worked just fine!

Now, I've recently had a bit of oil in my alternator (from a leak) which has been burning off, and I also jetwashed my engine bay last night. Could either of those be stopping my car from starting?

I'm getting the car jump started tomorrow morning.. and will probably take it to ATS Euromaster...

jetwashing the engine bay can have very nasty effects on wiring sometimes...

It's the alternator that has gone. Oh well.
