Ok just an update, had about half an hour to work on the window the other day, took the entire door trim off and found me some power wires (haynes manual lied to me here) and using the only bit of wire I could find, managed to power the passenger side using the driver's control, by hooking directly to the battery (not a good idea I know) so now all i have to do, is find a small power supply and tap that into my apparently dodgy power lead.

Hi, just had the same problem on my wife's 2007 Punto grande sporting. Tried all of the above without success, although the drivers door loom did had a plastic locating pin snapped off & took some re-securing. After these checks didn't work, before changing the passenger door switch, I stripped it down (easy - all plastic lugs) & the rocker contacts were dirty - so I cleaned them & this seems to have done the trick!

Old Volvo's are much easier to fix ;-)

Open the drivers door and look at the black electical connector that goes to the door, unscrew this, blow, then re-connect making sure it's tight when it's tight give another part turn, "click". should be sorted.

When changing my door over I experimented with the connector it appears as though the drivers window connector doesn't engage until the last turn ("Click"), no-idea why mines's like that, but it's a quick check so you might as well.

I've got a problem with the 3 door fiat Grande punto electric windows have both stopped working I've not got the handbook I know the fuse box is in the engine compartment the wing mirrors are working fine. Just need to find out what fuses I need to replace . Any help will be greatly appreciated
