Can anybody tell me which are the correct plugs for a 54 reg mk2b Punto 1242, 8 valve. I was at Halfords on Saturday and they told me they were NGK BKR5EZ from their computerised system but I've tried to fit them tonight and the threaded inserts are definitely wider than the plug that I removed (which is a Fiat plug by the way, 3year old car with 21.5k miles, I hope that these are not the originals!!). So I had to return the NGK's tonight and Halfords are'nt sure which are the correct plugs for this car, I hope I'm not at the mercy of the Fiat dealer now, and the middle two plugs look tricky to remove as there is not much room to get at them. Maybe I should get the garage to fit plugs but I've always managed to do it on my other cars. Also I got an oil filter as well part no. HOF 289 does anyone know if this is correct before I change it?

i dont no off the top of my head but took my sis's out here mk2b and put them in my mk1, should have some in the garage at home so i will have a look later

Just for the record, I managed to get some spark plugs this afternoon from Eurocarparts and the correct plugs for this car are Bosch YR 7 DC+.
I have managed to fit the outer two plugs but need a long bar plug socket for the inner two as there's not much room and it would be impossible to install with a universal joint type plug tool.
Does anyone know where I can buy a rigid type plug socket/tool?

you will be when the wrong plugs spike your ecu (£320) so get the right/genuine ones fitted.

i know i have one but dont no where its from
