2000 Punto, 3 door, HGT Abarth conversion!

Yer I'd quite like to paint mine, but just can't be arsed haha!

I think they look cool in a nice silver! I do like red, but everyone's got that!

I think they look best just left as they are, just cleaned up a bit.

If you clean the brake dust off then attack them with some wet and dry paper and lots of soapy water, then they will come up a nice silver like theyve come out of the factory, but not too shiny...

Do you need high temperature paint for this?

Why would you need high temperature paint?. You dont paint the disks themselfs just the caliper which holds the brake pad painting disks = very baaaad usually Fire.

Only paint them if you can do a good job - nothing looks more shabby than calipers painted with a brush, with drips and bits missed. Only the chavs do that. (Is 'chavs' the right word!?)

If you want to be super cool, get an old pair, mill a flat area on the casting and spray an Abarth scorpion on, then clear lacquer powder coat over the top. That would take time and skill though...

Hammerite Smooth reputedly does the job, I'm gona do my calipers red and my rear drums black once I get my alloys on.
