Please help!!!! MY 2001 Punto 1.9JTD ELX recently started to play up. The first symptomts were almost like a misfire wher the car lost power for a split second. This got worse until the car cut out completely and would only start when cold. This then suddenly cleared up for a week but has now come back and the car will only start when cold again. The mileage is 82000 and the fiters are new, fuel is getting to the injectors as i have loosened the banjo to check so think the pump is fine. Think the problem is electrical but theres lots of sensors to go at!!! Any ideas

if it cuts out mainly when the engine warms up then its most likley the crank sensor, do a search for this you'll find a few members have had this problem
