General exhaust blow.

Hello there. i have a blow in my exhaust and need a new mid section. i have a 2002 80bhp punto 16v sporting and was wondering if i could get hold of a 2002 punto 8v mid exhaust would this changer the performance at all and would it fit as on mine there is a mid silencer and on the 8v there isn't. also would it change the emissions some how?

you can see the diameters and shapes and sizes are the same, the only difference is the middle box and the mount in front of it.

the middle box doesnt affect emissions, it is only there to reduce noise.
the mount on the 8v isnt needed so dont worry that it would not attach to anything.

in my opinion you can fit the 8v exhaust, the diagrams strongly suggest it will be a direct fit, and it should give you a better noise too.

Thanks alot. do you know anywhere you can get a cheep one from and is it an easy fit or will i have to take it to a shop to get it done? thanks again steve oh yeah and will it efect mpg at all do u no ?

it wont affect mpg.
