just fitted my new front mounted intercooler and green samco hoses, its not quite finished yet but was wondering wat people think?
+ ive never seen another GT with Green hoses, so i thought id get some rather than the boring Blue

well i had mesh in the bumber which made it run hotter as it had small holes so ive taken it out and am guna risk it like it is.

y dont you buy one??? i got mine in sept and have fitted an uprated turbo, fmic and airfilter for a bit more polk and my insurance is £1480 tpft at 19 years old with 2 years no claims and thats everything declared from the turbo to the flushed boot and airfilter

lol ive not quite got that amount of money. If I had one id have it sat on the drive as a project and as it is my dad really wouldnt appreciate that either lol as ive got 2 motorbikes in the garage and he's annoyed with them lol mayb when im a lil older and got my own place.... should be earning enough pennies then too! i much prefer mk1's to mk'2 in terms of looks though. not so sure on the performance side but hey! yours looks ace! well lets hope the intercooler dont get broke!

just a huge shame that the green hoses clash horribly with the yellow paintwork... the taste police are gonna be after you

blue would have been much better

not keen on the green hoses, i would say black or red would have gone great

The pics dont do it justice as the car is a darker yellow and the hoses are a more of a lime green looks much better in 'person'.

I agree with you, much better than blue, everyone has blue and its just booooooring!.

Which is why i picked red for my GSR

hi mate its a THS type 1, will try to get some pics, but i have gone me own route, ive moved the rad over and got rid of the origing metal piping that goes from the top of the enging bay to the bottom and replaced them with 45 deg samcos.

have you got proper joiners with bumped edges??
what boost you running??
only done 4 miles in mine with it on as insurance was a killer so still waiting for the day 'may the 19th', not to much longer to go!!

Looking good imo mate the colour green isnt really to my taste tbph. But its different to the everyday blue and red ones so yeah looks fair sweet
