Abarth Skirts

managed to pick up some abarth 5 dr skirts for my mk2 punto brand new rdy for painting for 50 quid, is that good price???

well i aint going for the titan kit no more looks to ott not smooth and i would have to get a different back bumper and skirts as they dont fit the 5dr.

well i got some skirts, next after the 3dr abarth front bumper but before that i need to paint these beasts.

I want to try paint them myself as the bodyshops are quoting over 100 pound just to spray. What paints to i need from primer to finish etc? is newspaper ther best to stand it on? how long to i leave it properly before its dry.

??

thanks

Find an open space like in your garage were you dont mind the floor being painted. If its ABS plastic its best to use a primer main coat and a laquer which protects the paint and stoped you accidently scratching it off. If i were you id definatly paint them myself as its only white. Mine on the other hand needs a professional job to match the tone just right. And no if you can help it dont use newspaper just gets in the way and sometimes likes to stick itself to what your painting sometimes [V].

Let me know how you get one and get some pics when there on the car and ill get some :)

tbh chris i sorta prefer the 5 dr model. yeah there aint as many mods etc but at least that makes you want to do it up and it is a challenge rather than everything is simple

:)
