Can anyone advise me of the correct or recommended tyre pressures for a 1.2 8v 3 door fiat punto?. It is a bit of a rough ride at the moment.

if its a mk2 punto then for normal use

2.0bar (29psi) front
1.9bar (28psi) rear

if the car is fully loaded with passengers and luggage then its

2.2bar (32psi) for all four wheels

I've always wondered about tyre pressures!! I have a 1.2 5 door punto 75sx, someone once told me to put them up to 31psi where as someone else said if you put them up as high as that u will be bouncing all over the road!!??!!

I thought it seemed a bit low as all the other cars I have owned had higher pressures but it is fine at 32psi

the figures i gave you are the offical figures from haynes manual and from the fiat punto owners handbook that comes with the car. 32psi is a bit hard if no one else is in car. of course if you have put diferent alloys on then you need diff pressures

mine are at 38psi normally 15" Alloys with toyo street tires they grip lovely when wet
