temperature sender help

hi again yes its me again..my punto 1.2 petrol has had so much work done on it lately just to get it running smoothly..allsorts..the prob im left with it just wont tick over properly..now its come down to to the temperature sender unit..when i unplug this unit the car ticks over fine..but when its plugged in and warmed up it wont tick over for long.. could it be this unit causing the car not tick over for long..thanx..

changed the temp sender..and it still cuts out....someone help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.!!!!!

Temoerature sender has no effect on the idle at all...

ICV (stepper motor) does. Give this a good dose of wd40 and see if it helps. It would help if you stated what you changed recently...

Ok Ive Changed Throttle Housing.. Two Coils..temp Sender ..inlet Manifold..and It Still Wont Tick Over..runs Ok Cold For A Bit Then Revs Drop For A Bit Then It Just Switches Off..starts Straight Away Then 20 Seconds Later Stops Again And So On..help It Driving Me Crazy..drives Allday Long But As Sonn As I Pull Over It Stops..thanx
