A happy sticker in my glovebox informs me its time to change my airbag gas generator, Gas generator if I recall correctly is P.C. talk for explosive charge in the steering wheel so its going to be a main dealer job. Anyone actually bothered once there punto has reached 10 to change it? also if you have how much was it?

I bought a used Punto, a few months back. It had like 2 or 3 other owners.

I noticed that there is a sticker telling em to replace the gas generator by 2012. That's long gone.
I am not sure what to do about this.
My Punto has a passenger airbag and the driver airbag.

Anyone replaced the gas generator already?

Erm... over here in the uk
We dont change airbags unless faulty or detonated...

10years and ive never changed one...
