Just registered in the hope that someone on here can help me sort out quite a large problem on the mrs Punto.
Its an 02 Diesel 1.9.
She came home complaining that the car smelt badly of diesel, I've looked it over and number 4 injector is leaking diesel, the injector was loose and you could move it with your fingers. After some hassle I've managed to get a tool to tighten it up and that has helped in as much as the leak is now only bubbling so its not pi**ing out fuel all over the engine bay as badly as before. :bang: Second attempt was to place a copper washer in and tighten the injector onto that. this has helped some more but its still not solved.
Is there a such a thing as a seal kit for the injectors? Has anyone else come accross this problem?
Also have a problem with the windscreen wipers but thats a common one by the looking at some of the posts on here..
Any help guys or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
