Are there any problems with 15 inch FOX rims on fiat punto 5 door (2005)

Hey
i own a fiat punto (2005 model) 1.3 litre. Bought myself a pair of 2nd hand rims, they are 15 inch fox rims with the normal usuall tyres that you would find on any rims.
I simply dont know anything about cars and rims etc so i would appreciate anyones help
I want to know if i will experience any problems if i replce the stock wheels (i.e. they are not rims) with these 15 inch fox rims, will it scrape wheel arch when car is full (doubt it but just in case) or something like that?
also will these rims affect my car in a negative way, for eg damage Suspension o anything else on the car, steering etc?, the thing is i dont know anything other than good looks that it will give my car hopefully.
Please tell me any bad things that can happen if i put these rims in my fiat, if there are simply no problems with doing so and its safe to do so please tell me and i will be happy in putting my new rims ASAP
many thanx
the thing is ppl tell me rims are better for cars, improves handling and that im safe in putting those 15 inch rims, that everyhting will be fine, but im safer off asking here sinc ei knwo there are many ppl out here that actually know a lot about this stuff
PLZZZZZ HELP

kind regards

hi! what car did they come off?
15"s will fit a punto ok if they've got the correct bolt pattern and offset, fiats are 4x98 pcd although 4x100 pcd will fit with wobble bolts, the offset should be around 35mm, these figures should be stamped on the back of the wheels

i have no clue what u mean about the OFFSET, as witht he bolt pattenr its exactly the same, 4 botls
The rims came of an old FIAT CONVERTABLE ( i think its called FIAT punto ELX or something like that), not sure.
anyways will i experience any problmes, will it damage any car parts, suspension etc?
also id ont need any wheel alighnment done do I after i put them?

kind regards

hmm the offset on the old puntos was 38mm and on yours about 33mm so check they dont rub on top suspension bolt at rear or on inner wings especially when on full lock.
did they come with bolts? as some times you need wobbly ones, and also all alloys use longer bolts than steel wheels so dont use the bolts that are on your old wheels

Im not too sure what you mean, are you saying that i need to sue the bolts that came off the rims that were on the olf fiat instead of the oens that my current fiat wheels have?
please explain clearly

OK so if i use the bolts that came of the rims that were on the old fiat convertible, everything will be fine, i will encounter no problems with suspension, wheel arch etc???

ok then hopefully it wont touch and everything will be fine rite?
so i use the bolts the olf fiat convertable had and hope it wont touch?

my 7j x17"s are 40mm offset and don't touch the rear suspension bolt
the 15"s will only be 6j at most so should have plenty of room
6j & 7j is the width of the wheel
yeah but your wiered, everyone elses 17s do :(

ok then hopefully it wont touch and everything will be fine rite?
so i use the bolts the olf fiat convertable had and hope it wont touch?

yes yes :)

ANyone else have any other suggestions?
please help out if u can
thanx;)

kind regards
