ok some of u no that i had a problem fiting more than 3 people in my car because my tyres would touch the inside of my arch! not good!!!

now i took it to the dealers and everything to see what was wrong and they thought it was my exhaust but i new it wasnt!

The problem was that i had spacers on my car which are illegal and they actually sold it to me with them on but they didnt know what they were anyways lol.

Anyway i got one of my new mechanics to sort it out and basically its lyk a big washer that goes inbetween the alloys and the brake pads to make the car look beefy (which it does) however they are illegal and can **** up your arches and your tyres so if anyone as this problem i suggest you take them off... they dont really make that much of a difference, only the person who put them on would know!

Hi mate,

You mean wheel spacers??
You need them to space your alloys out from the struts,shocks, other bits of bodywork if you are fitting alloy wheels that have a different offset to standard. By the sounds of it, your spacers were too big (if it was rubbing with them on and now isnt with them off)
They will ruin your arches/tyres if they are the wrong size or if you fit them when they are not needed, as they will cause the wheel to rub against one of the suspension components or bodywork.
The trick is to get the right spacers for your wheels (some dont even need spacers if you get the correct fitments.)
