Hi, looking for the name of the colour of my 2003 MK2 Punto. It is the metallic light blue colour. (On my logbook it just says 'blue').

Looking to spray some scratches on my bumper

Thanks

Got the name and code. Can these be obtained freely from Halfords etc? Or do they have to be obtained from Fiat. What price are we talking?

(Azzurro Astrale Code 804/A)

Sorry mate I have no idea, I just saw what dave said in another thread and thought i'd post it here to help you out. I do know that Halfords mix colours to get your colour but apparently its not trustworthy, maybe if you tell them the code they could get it? I'm not sure.

Hi mate,

Yea i agree with Xen, Halfords do mix paint to your cars paint code, however, i have never know it to be a perfect match. Fiat or a specialist car paint shop is the place to go!

Are you gonna do the paint job yourself? What are you going to paint? Anything on the exterrior, you should take it to pro, and he will mix a clolour himself, but in my experience they all say you wont notice the difference but you will....especially cause Fiats loose original shine fast, so roof could be lighter colour than the doors or hood, now you dont notice, but if you paint the door, then you see cause you painted a big surface evenly...

agree with the first few comments in that a specialist shop would be better as they do that for a living, not just as a job and many halfords employees really care.

Go to halfords make you the exact colour with the little specs in. Rather cheap for Halfords aswell.

Halfords mix it to a receipe to match the paint as spec'd by the manufacturer.

A bodyshop will take into account any fade due to UV etc and actually make paint to match your bodywork rather than a specification.
