Hello everybody!

Happy new year 2008!!!

This is my first thread, and I am happy to find this forum!

Well, i have got a problen with my blinker anda my warning light on my fiat punto model 1997.
When my car is cold -in the morning-, my blinkers don't work. However When my car is warm my blinkers work -but not very well-.

I have changed the commodo but the problem still on.

Thank you for your suggestions and your help.

Bye:)

by commodo, do you mean "relay"?

the relay is in the steering column housing, and controls the intermittent signal. Is the wiring harness connected properly to the steering column, it is an orange/white wire and connects to the opposite side of the steering column to the ignition key.

There are only a few components in the indicator (blinker) loom. Fuse, Ignition switch, Relay (integral with steering column switches), wiring and the bulbs.

Bulb out would make the blinkers go very fast.

Fuse would not affect the brightness, as it would blow if it was too low rated

Ignition switch would not affect the indicators if it starts the engine.

The relay could be the cause, or it could be a problem with part of the wiring loom.

Hope this helps,
Adam
