Anyone had any experiance with it?

I have an ELM327 based interpreter, but im struggling to get it to connect.

AFAIK the Punto MK2 is OBD2 compliant and uses the ISO protocol. Had a generic scanner linked up to it and that connected fine so all seems well there.

When i try to connect with any diagnostics software, i get connection issues. My port settings are correct and the RS232 lights flash away, but nothing from the car with the ignition both on and off.

I'm gonna give it a go on my mums berlingo tomorrow to be sure its not a hardware issue, but it shouldnt be... the interface goes through the startup test no problems and there seems to be no issues connecting to the interface, its just the connection to the car thats playing up.

any ideas?

Xen, excuse me for stating the obvious but I presume you've pushed it home fully.

The first interface I tried was a real struggle to push home until I put a light coating of WD40 on the plastic surrounding plug.
