hi guys n gals

anyone know how to remove the 2 center air vents ( the ones above the fog light switch on the center console )
there are somethings blocking the air coming through .

i have remoed the 2 screws at the top of the console and 2 above the radio but it wont come off.... or is there a way to get the vents out without removing the console.....

on mk 1 start by removing heater control panel, pull off the speed contol knob , theres a screw behind it and two more on the bottom edge of that unit if you already have the others out as you say that should give you the access you need

Yeah...just pull off the central heater knob and the screw is hidden behind it.
There are 2 below the radio, and 4 on the heater vents as well.

witch one would that be, there are three knobs here...
i have found 2 screws at the top, and 2 above the radio....but i dont see any more.....

by the way it is a mk1 console.... for the record

there are 7 screws that hold the centre consol in place ,the middle control is the fan speed ,should just pull off ,,one screw behind there and two more at bottom of the swith cluster, there are two at the top of the centre consol and two more at the very bottom which should then pull off giving you access to the heater channels
