I lowered my MK2 fiat punto JTD by 35mm 6 months ago and I regret it. Burst sump going over a bump and now leaking shocks. Anyway I've just shelled out close to £300 quid for new springs and shocks for the car.

The problem now is fitting it. Garages want £195 on average for the job. If I was ignorant, I'd say the price was right but when the lowered springs were previously fitted right in front of my eyes it was a 1 hour job and quite easy for £70 only and the only thing different now is loosening rear shocks bolts (The front ones have to came off to fit spings last time). Problem is I'm up in Newcastle and the shocks are too knackered for me to drive car back to hampshire where they were done. Anyone know any cheap garage that could do it for under £100 in this area. I really cant justify £500 quid for replacing stock shocks and springs on a 7 year old car. Thanks.
