My X-reg Punto 1200 ha just failed it's MOT due to a flashing light (amber) below the RED airbag light which has also decided to come on!

Both of these only came on when i had a fault with my horn and all the fuses where taken out - one by one - when trying to find the horn.

The horn was fixed fine, but this flashing light has appeared ever since!!

It usually comes on for a second when starting up and is always he last light to go off, but i cant identify what this is.

All help welcome!!

Hello and WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!

The amber one below the main airbag light is the passenger side airbag deactivation warning light. Will probsbly be a fiat job to get it turned off as i think it needs examiner to reset it.

Hope that helps,
Alan

Needs to be taken to dealership to be fixed, i think last time i had that fixed it was about £46. including diagnostic (finding fault codes). Could be a few things that have caused it be most likely taking the fuse out has not helped as this will automatically make it go like yours has. And is nearly always caused by the passenger side deactivation switch.

Get it sorted soon as none of the airbags will work if in a crash at the mo.
