Hi All,
Bet there are a few experts who can help me out here. Just a couple of quick questions.
1. My sump has rusted along the front and beginning to seep oil. Garage wants about £150 to replace it. I have seen them for sale for around £40. Does anyone know if they are easy to fit??

2.When carrying passengers, back end sounds to rumble but nothing is visible wrong. Any ideas guys?

Hello and WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

The sump... yes its easy to fit, just make sure you get the right sealant (cant beat fiat stuff tbh) and thoroughly clean the 2 surfaces before putting it on so that it bonds properly.

The rumbling.... Could be a wheel bearing on its way out. Jack the car up and see if you can wobble the wheel at all.

mines is the same i thought it was the bushes,
damn i need a new car every thread i read ive got the same problems

ive got a sump in the shed i paid 15/20 for it you can have it for the same delivered

Thanks for advice. I will check. Might even fix it when i get a nice day lol

fiat and wheel bearing failures are very rare

i only ever changed punto and multipla rears and they are few and far betwen
