i think hes refferring to the yorkshire meet at xscape on the 2nd...
i see there also a punto meet on 1st though where beau lives.
i boycotting that though coz they all from aforum that keeps banning me for stupid reasons, or the other forum that just removed my account because they was jelous that ff was better than their club

take the lilter outta the airbox, chances are its full of **** anyway so it prob holdin a tiny bit of power back, plus it sounds beefy if u dont wanna buy a replacement air filter

If i bought a k&n high flow air filter for example, why would it decrease power? I cant work this out lol
A replacement air filter wouldnt decrease power, but the induction kit version WOULD. this is because the K&N kits arnt very well designed, and the filter sits too close to the engine, and therefore sucks in lots of HOT air as you put your foot down (even more so than just with your original filter on). Hot air is less dense than cold air and therefore not as much fuel can be burnt in the cylinder giving you a smaller bang and less power.
Other kits (such as GSR) have the filter posiioned further away from the engine so they suck more COLD air.

a replacement pannel filter that goes in your box be fine, its the top of tb ones that reduce power
the filter is ok its were its located thats the problem, it sits on top of the engine and draws in hot air
I have KN and I bought a piece of pipe, acctually that's a part for Yugo cars, a pipe that goes on the tank....so I have moved it from engine, but I cant be sure if I have or had any problems, I've took it for a spin without filter at all and it's the same...
Here's the pic, off course I keep it under the hood, by the left side headlight, theres a nice hole for air by the headlight
