hey guys, im wondering what could be causing my lights to be so dim. Basically its only the lights on the right side of the punto (2000 1.2 8v). All the lights on the left side are fine but not on the right which are the front headlight, tailight and side blinker. Do you think it could be a bad earth somewhere? where do i check? thanks

bit obvious but one of the bulbs gone?

if all 3 of the lights are dim then i would say it is most probably a bad earth.

yea wont be a bulb if their all dim. Yea thats what i was thinkin bout the earth but i didnt know each side was seperate, also does any1 know where the earth is? save me lookin 4 it. cheers

was just thinking it may appear dull if a bulb has gone, always best to rule out the most simple

2000 Puntos have 'bulb blown' indicators on the dash.

If it's all down one side then it could be one common earth, but I doubt it front to back too... I'll investigate my bibles (Haynes) wiring diags when I get home if you like..?

front and rear light use separate earthing points to the cars shell

could be a coincidence that the front and rear light's have corroded connections at the same time you never know
