please help as im in a bit of bother, i am currently in the process of smoothing my tailgate, I bought another tailgate from a scrapyard to work on so i didnt have to go without 1 whilst it was being worked on,I have filled all the holes with steel and it has all been welded in for me today all thats left to do is fill it smooth it prime it and paint it. Now here comes the problem i took my car for an mot the other day and was discussing my plans with the tester when he sprung a question on me 'how u gunna light up the rear number plate wen its on the bumper?' aparently ur rear number plate must be lit up please help if you know where i could get some side lights for the number plates or simillar illuminaters, any coments would help as ive seen plenty of pics of puntos with this done but cant spot the lights what do i do??????

check out car accessory shops some do a backing plate with a light built on to the back.

Or you could buy a bumper with a number plate recess in and use you original light from the tailgate, or use a light of the back of a fiesta

hey thanx for the ideas ive already got a new bumper its the standard one but its colour codable i really like the idea of the back plate with lite bulb that dave said about please could you find one for me and post the link
