Hi,
Yes i have a FEW problems with my fiat. Its a 2001 Punto Sporting speeadgear.
Now i really dont know where to start but here it goes.
1. When I press on the breaks i can hear the reverse gear tones and i also notice i can hear a click in the gear box when i press on the breaks. this has happened for a couple of days. Today another issue has arised when when i use the indicators it decides to make the reverse noise. (just incase you are not aware of the noise, its similar to when vans reverse instead the noise is only internal to the car, its only on the Auto models). i thinking i should check if there is a cuse for this and just remove it, but not sure of any knock on effects of this apart from the noise going away
1a. Another this with the gear box is the gearbox light has recently started to flash, could be due to the above.
2. steering i dont use the City button much usually just normal mode, and all of a sudden the power steering just went and it became incredibly stiff and difficult to steer. i switched of and restarted the car and it was fine, this has happened a about 3 times in the last 6 months. when in normal/city mode the steering also makes a screechy noise this is usually when i am stand still and turn the wheel iether side... not sure could it be fluid?
3 battary - i think this is a bit more general when attempting to start in clod morning my car refuses to tick over, its like 90% there just the last 10%, and then the more i try it just dies so i have get a jump start all the time. is this just a battery issue, never changed it i dont think.
please help sorry for for the lenthy detail...
