hi just out of curiosity, i have serviced my punto sporting mk1 and added a air filter and will also soon be getting a full through exhaust, is there anything short of puting a new engin or turboing the engin i got in there to add extra break horse power. my car is nippy but i am wanting it to be fast.:slayer:

if you put a straigh through exhaust on an NA car you loose power, if you fit a new airlilter where it sucks in warn air you also loose power

why do people do this to there cars

removing resonance box to fit new air filter reduces power loads

think about it fiat spend lots of money to design and develop the resonance box to help increase power around the engines peak power rpm
and it also reduces noise

and you replace it with a £20 tops universal air filter
