I recently bought a 55 SX. When I start it I can rev and drive off ok, however, if I leave it running for a while and then try to drive the revs drop and it refused to move; at that point I can switch off, on again and it will rev and drive ok. If I rev to about 3k and hold it revs drop to about 2.5 and then goes back to 3 again. Pls. advise

Zazu,

welcome to my world! I've had this problem for over a yr now. nothing will sort it and for me it only happens when its damp or wet. its like someones putting their hand over the exhaust and preventing the gasses from escaping making the engine run slow until the blockage is blown through.

But if you do get it fixed, please tell me what you had done because no garages I've been to believe I have a problem or know what it is.
