when i was changing a rear shock on my car the top bolt has snapped as it was coming out. :bang:

shock is now off but the rest of that bolt is still in the hole, hardly any of it is protruding so cant get a grip of it.

whats the best way to get it out?

If there is nothing really ticking out, then its probably going to be a case of drilling it out.

Yep, pretty much just get the drill out. I'm not sure what access is like for the mk2 Punto, but you may need a right angle attachment. Plus if it's hard to see then it'll be hard to make sure that you're drilling into the middle of the bolt and not wrecking the thread of the hole.

I had to drill a few snapped bolts out in teh past. Good luck...

Get a stud extractor. You screw it (anti-clockwise) into the middle of the stud. That action, will unscrew the stud. If you haven't got space for a drill, you can screw it in manually... just a bit more difficult.

Or weld a bolt to it.
