Hi Everyone!
Just wondering about something. As much as I love the sound of my induction kit, I couldn't help noticing that the long, strecthy hose wasn't connected when I had it fitted. I've still got it in the back of my boot.

By connecting it, would it increase the BHP and the roar of the induction kit? I've tried fitting it but it says I got to remove some plastic thing with three bolts screwed on it. What plastic thing? I can't seem to locate it!

Any feedback would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

Aziz.

yeah the plastic thingy is at the side of your radiatorit has 3 8mm bolts and is quite tricky to get them off, my punto is quite old now so the bolts had rusted on, but when you get it off you can feed the hose through to the front grill, with it facing in the general direction of the way your driving it forcing more air direct to the filter therefore more air flow more power

FIT IT!!

If you haven't got the feeder hoses fitted then you're not getting the full benefit from the kit.

The hose(s) direct cold air towards the filter and it's that direct cold air that lets the k&n kit perform at its best.

If no cold air is directed at the filter, it will only be sucking in air out of the engine bay which can, at lower speeds especially, be WARMER than the original air filter set-up.
