I second Custard and probably Mr coates on that....if you have that much money, or even a 10th of it to spend on something so superficial, how about donating to charity? They might even build you a plaque to say thank you!

If you have that much money to spend on a number plate why the hell are you driving a FIAT???

Get yourself a Porsche Carrera GT and let me have a go ;)

He he.

T'is a LOT of money. But then people were saying it was a waste at £250.

My theory - if it's what you want.....

:)

£30,000????

That's about 5 new puntos, 3 stilos, 2 mondeos or something ridiculously fast like a porsche you could buy for that.

Surely someone's having a laugh here that plate cannot be worth that sort of money.

£30K on a number plate is obscene! If you want everyone who sees your car to know your name, then why don't you get a marker and write it across the paintwork?!?! :p
That way you can use as many letters as you like! ;)

A point well made jonny! I agree with Richard; the value of the number plate shouldn't be 30k, it's a pretty rubbish number isn't it?

In my opinion, £250 is an ok amount to spend, I personally wouldn't and might laugh at somebody who did, but 30k means you should use the money going to get help instead!

Firstly no im not going to pay that sort of money for the plate. if it was £2-300 then maybe. a fool and his money are easily parted, but im no fool but i would really like this plate ;)

i was asking because it seems riduculous that they can ask this much for a plate, there cant be that many people who spell my name like that..and thought maybe thats why they are charging more because those that are, are more likely to want it as opposed to if it was a more common name.

guess ill have to stick with my Y reg plate for a while yet, or get myself into the will of the owner of that plate [}:)] :D

Thank goodness!

But yes, it does seem a lot for the name (which as you say isn't immediately obvious as even being a name).

Usually it's down to the desirability and number of characters is a big influence.

So PC 1 would cost a fortune whereas P 111 PAC might be peanuts in comparison.

I still think the one I'm getting is an absolute bargain based on the fact that it stands out a mile as being personalised (age of the car compared to it being an "A" reg plate) and only two numbers. Let's face it, the PUN bit is purely personal but should be obvious on a Punto.

Yer I agree with ya there Mr.Coates, tis a good price.

I noticed A13 PUN is forsale at the same price, tempting..... doubt I will go for it though.

Punto MK2 Sporting 16v, Full Abarth Bodykit + Alloys.

A13, A17, A19 AND A20 were all available when I did mine.

Just checked - they are all there and mine has now gone from the list!

:D
