Well, this is something I've been thinking about for a while but finally took the plunge!

For my 1.2 Punto:

How does A12 PUN relate to you then??

Or is it just the PUN = Punto bit?

Can I be cheeky and ask how much it cost ya?

Punto MK2 Sporting 16v, Full Abarth Bodykit + Alloys.

Ought to have the Italian flag rather than the European and GB ones though!

And that's all in, VAT, fees etc.

All you need to do is take the paperwork to a DVLA office and transfer it to your existing car.

By the way to avoid confusion by my last comment.

You need to call them once you've found the plate you want and pay for it (Credit/Debit card). Then you'll get the number assigned to you and THEN you take that (with the other relevant forms) to your local DVLA office.

0870 6000 142 is the number you call once you've found the reg you want.

and technically you need to MOT the car as the old MOT has the wrong regi on it(if your cars old enuf)

Yep - anything with the reg on needs to be changed but things like tax disc etc are all changed to reflect the new vehicle (apparently).

And at least I don't have to worry about MOT as it's only 9 months old.

Whoops, just got the legal confirmation from Norwhich Union on friday morning that its ok to get my plates on my car...bloody lucky!! :I By 8pm the punto had been rear-ended
