Standard Speakers - Question?

Im buying a new CD unit, however can anyone tell me if a 50W player will sound any differnt than a 20W player on the standard punto MKII speakers?

What i realy need to know is if its worth spending more money on more power that i wont use/need?
Cheers

Didnt think they made 20w headunits anymore...

But you should notice a difference with the 50w one though. The sound will be clearer, louder, generally better.

I dont think the 20w one will be any better than standard.

It's not as simple as just the wattage there's a lot of other BS too. power is the 'real' rating and what will be quoted in the car's manual.

My old sony 4 x 50W (allegedly) headunit was actually according to Sony's manual in the box only 4 x 27W RMS.

As far as I am aware there are no standard headunits that will kick out more than 4 x 35 W RMS.
