Hi Guys,

Right, Ive been forced into the choice of having my car de-badged as some little ba***rd has nicked my front one :bang:

Dont know how considering the thing is bolted on from the front but ah well.
For refrence i have a punto mk 1

I know that i can easily nip down to the body shop and get them to do this whole thing for me.. but that takes the fun out of owning a punto..

So im a bit confused about wich filler will be apropriate, the best way to aproach filling my front badge and the holes that will be left from my rear badges..

Do i need to weld plates on the behind ( i cant weld) / How much the color spray from fiat will cost (Oridgional black) / & the correct color code for the paint i have?

Im thinking after all this it might just be easier taking it in..

For the front put a nut and bolts in to fill the hole left where the badge is held on....then just use filler to fill in the hole, sand smooth and paint.

On the back, take off the boot trim inside the bootlid and superglue a coin (or big washer) behind each hole....it's fiddly but do-able.
Then put masking tape over the holes and filler over the tape to fill them. Shave the filler smooth with a stanley knife blade being careful not to cut the tape....then peel the tape off and you are left with a couple of neats holes to colour using a touch-up pen.

Ahh brilliant thankyou..
Any type of filler i should be using?
I dont know about it really, but is it P38 or P40 that is best to use?

I used Loctite stuff....called something like 'Plastic body filler'...comes in a yellow tub from halfords for about £10.
