Heya all!

new to the forum and so far i've found out a lot about my little punto monster from here

just the other day though, my passenger side windscreen wiper ceased to function *grumble* and it hasnt worked since then. The driver side works fine, but the passnger side just stays parked at the bottom. You can move the wiper freely by hand which i know is not normal. Anyway, is this a simple fix or do I have to get a new motor for it?

I've seen the sticky thread with the Wiper Linkage kit...is that the motor kit I need to buy? I'm secretly hoping that i can just fix the thing myself by unscrewing a few things so fingers crossed!

Take off the scuttle panel....the bit the wipers are bolted through. I daresay the linkage that connects the passenger and drivers wipers has come apart or broken...if so just replace the broken bit.

you cant buy odd bits for the fiat linkage, fiat will only sell you the whole motor and linkage as one. the linkage in the sticky is with out motor, but if a bit of it should ever brake the man can supply just 1 bit of it
