currently removing the old shocks at the front all the bolta have come out fine and dandy apart from one which i have had to split the nut to get it off and the bolt is still seized in there.

does a fiat dealership carry these bolts?

how much are they roughly?

i'm thinking i may aswell replace them all rather than the one that is buggered.

thanks in advance,

josh

lol dave,

i thought i would need some but tried autocom and motosave today and they said they didn't stock 'em.

so will pop to dealership tomorrow, think nearest one is lincoln.

will i need to replace the top suspension nut too?

what bolts are required for the back cos i may aswell pick them up too?

thanks for your help dave was relying on you being online!

Josh

oh and dave picked up some spring compressors too, they were recommended as they have nice teeth to secure the spring so i don't end up with a spring pointing out of my head!

lol, it seems it is just the one! and why does it have to be the lower one making it harder to work with!

i couldn't get a 4.5" grinder in so i slit the nut with a dremel grinding bit ... 4 bits later and there was enough gap to get a 1/4" cold chisle in there few wacks with a lump hammer and it split then it was just a case of a pari of mole grips and letting the nut find a way of the thread.

have got a punch to knock the heavily soaked bolt out, hopefully it ig knocks it out other wise i am just gonna take a grinder to the strut and cut the crap out of it till its free as that is the shock that is pissing fluid anyway. :D
